Ealing Cycle Network Plan (2024-2035)

The Ealing Cycle Network Plan is a strategy to create a coherent and joined up network of safe bike lanes, paths and cycling routes by 2035.

The plan, developed with input from over 1100 residents, cycling groups including the Ealing Cycling Campaign and neighbouring boroughs, will address the main barrier stopping people from cycling, or cycling more frequently – safety.

Following the feedback from the boroughwide consultation in 2023, the plan will focus on improving existing cycle routes to create a better connected borough and make it easier and safer to cycle.

A healthier, safer and greener Ealing borough

The Ealing Cycle Network is part of the council’s wider work to make the borough healthier, safer and greener by encouraging more people to travel actively and sustainably, as set out in Ealing’s climate and ecological strategy and the Mayor’s Transport Strategy by 2041

The results from the Cycle Network Plan consultation were published in February 2024, and updates and related news will be available on this webpage and the council’s social media channels.
