The closure of Church Road at its junction with Mandeville Road
The closure of Church Road at its junction with Mandeville Road (known locally as Little Church Road or Church Road East) aims to provide a direct walking and cycling link between valuable green spaces in Northolt.
In November, the council wrote to residents, advising that the closure would remain in place until March 2023 to allow for new traffic surveys to be carried out and community engagement to take place. Ealing Council is committed to working with local people to review the data and decide whether the closure should remain in place or not.
The data collected from the recent traffic monitoring can be viewed below. A summary and assessment of this data is also provided as a report. Officers are continuing to review the data, and further findings will be added here over the coming weeks.
