Controllable building work will require inspection by a council surveyor as it progresses to check for compliance with building regulations.
Notice of changes to inspection schedule
From 1 February 2026, we will be updating our site inspection schedule.
Inspections will now be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9:00am to 4:00pm.
If you require an inspection on one of these days, please book as early as possible to secure availability.

How to request a site inspection
You can request an inspection online. You will need a postcode to book an inspection online. Please note the following when booking:
- morning inspections will take place between 9am and 1pm
- afternoon inspections will take place between midday and 4pm
