New builds defects

If you find any faults in your new home during the warranty period, we will fix them properly. Our approved builders have committed to these standards and will do the repairs for us.

What we promise:

  • we will report any problems with your new home to the builder for you
  • we will make reporting problems simple
  • we will let you choose appointment times that work for you
  • we offer 24/7 emergency support all year round
  • we will respond to emergencies and make things safe within agreed times
  • we aim to fix regular repairs within 28 days
  • for heating problems: 
    • we will come within 24 hours if you have no heating, or within 5 days if it's partly working. If you smell gas, call 0800 111999
  • we will keep you updated about your repair
  • we will try to fix the problem in one visit
  • our workers will clean up after themselves and remove all waste
  • our workers will follow all safety rules
  • we will treat you and your home with respect
  • we will make sure everything works properly after repairs
  • we will also tell you quickly if something isn't covered by us and needs your attention instead
