School admissions

Going to a new school is a very important step for your child. Ealing Council wants to make the process of applying for a school place as easy as possible for parents and carers.

There are two types of admissions, main round admissions and in-year admissions.

It is important that you know what type you are applying for:

Main round admissions

Main round admissions applies to the ‘main intake’ of pupils who are due to start primary school, junior school or high school in September 2016.

In-year admissions

In-year admissions applies to all pupils who are applying for a school place to start immediately in Ealing.
