Applying for an in year primary school place
If your child needs to change school or you have moved and do not have a school place, you will need to apply for an in-year primary school place.
If you get a school offer, your child must start within 20 school days, or the offer may be withdrawn.
Before you apply
Check the year group table to find the right year for your child.
Look at available primary school vacancies
Read the admissions criteria for the schools you wish to apply for.
Ealing faith schools (Christian, Catholic, Sikh) applications
Some schools ask for a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) as part of the application process. If a SIF is needed, you must get it directly from the school. If you're unsure whether a SIF is required, or need help getting one, please contact the school directly. They can explain what’s needed and how to complete the form.
How to apply
Start your in-year primary school application
To apply for a place at St Vincent's Catholic Primary School or St Raphael's Catholic Primary School during the school year, you will need to apply to the school instead of the council.
Deadlines
School places are offered weekly during term time.
Applications submitted by 4pm on Friday will be processed the following week. You will receive an email within 10 school days confirming the outcome.
Places are offered based on available vacancies and the school's published admissions criteria. The admissions team is unable to provide updates while your application is being processed.
Nursery aged children
If your child was born on or after 1 September 2021 you can reach out to the family information service for advice on nursery options.
