Community engagement about Southall Town Hall
The council and RISE spoke with a number of organisations while considering Southall Town Hall as a hub.
This included the council's community safety team and the Metropolitan Police. Discussions covered local needs, crime prevention and how the service would work in the area.
The council and RISE also spoke with organisations based in or connected to Southall Town Hall, including Southall Community Alliance and representatives of the neighbouring Mandir.
Feedback informed how the service would operate at Southall Town Hall to minimise adverse impacts and to support safe, dignified access for all users.
RISE has long-standing relationships with:
- community groups
- faith groups
- schools
- healthcare providers
- support services
These relationships continue to help shape how services are offered.
Equality and accessibility were also considered through the council's wider decision-making processes and the borough-wide Equality Impact Assessment completed when the RISE contract was commissioned.
