About the RISE service
Councils have a legal duty to offer a community drug and alcohol treatment service for their residents.
In the London borough of Ealing, this service is called RISE.
RISE offers support for people who are having problems with drugs or alcohol. It works with each person to create a treatment plan based on their needs.
Support includes:
- counselling
- clinical treatment
- recovery support
RISE is run by a partnership of specialist organisations:
- Change Grow Live (CGL), the lead provider and one of the UK's largest charities specialising in drug and alcohol treatment and recovery support
- Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL), which provides clinical services, including medical assessments and prescribing
- Build on Belief (BOB), a peer-led recovery organisation that provides mentoring, recovery groups and support from people with lived experience of recovery
RISE runs services from more than 30 locations across the borough, including community venues, health facilities and criminal justice sites.
