Public health

Public health is about helping people to stay healthy and protecting them from threats to their health.

To support residents’ health, Ealing Council uses health data to help decide the best health services for the borough.

The council’s public health team works closely with disadvantaged groups to:

  • address their specific health issues
  • promote health and wellbeing across the borough
  • encourage all residents to take to control of their health and the health of their families

The council also supports the local clinical commissioning group to ensure that local people get high quality and safe clinical services, like GP services.
