Healthy child programme
Ealing Council commissions health visiting and family nurse partnership services to support parents in the first few years of their child’s life, to promote good health and development.
Ealing 0-5 Know How provides useful information for parents of children under five years.
Ealing Council’s children’s centres provide a range of activities to promote child health and development.
The council also commissions a school nursing service to support the health needs of pupils at state funded schools in the borough.
Child weight management
For families with children aged between 5-13 years of age identified as being above a healthy weight, who live, work or go to school in the borough, we have a programme called ALFIE which offers nutrition, behaviour change and physical activity sessions.
