If you find yourself on this webpage, it is more than likely because the collection crew left a white tag on your rubbish bin. This white tag indicates either:
- there is something in your bin that shouldn’t be
- your bin wasn’t accessible or presented correctly
Your black bin is for rubbish only. The only items that belong in this bin are those that cannot be recycled from your home. The less that goes in here, the better.
If your bin has been tagged, please do not report this as a missed collection as the crew will not return to empty your bin. Instead, you will need to:
- remove the incorrect item(s)
- remove the white tag
- present your bin at the boundary of your property by 7am on your next scheduled rubbish collection day
To make sure your rubbish bin is emptied on your next scheduled rubbish collection day, you will need to remove any incorrect item(s)
If you have any excess rubbish, furniture or other large items, they are not to be put in or next to your rubbish bin. If you do, they will not be collected. To dispose of these types of items you can request a bulky waste collection or take it to Greenford Road Reuse and Recycling Centre
If the incorrect items are not removed, then you may experience another missed collection.
