Fitness in parks

Fitness and small group activities in parks and open spaces

We support and encourage parks and open spaces being used for outdoor fitness training.

There are already a variety of activities taking place in our parks. See our list of current registered providers for more information.

You will need a permit to hold a fitness training session or small group activity session in one of our parks or open spaces. This helps us to manage activity safety, usage levels and possible clashes, so that our parks are protected and can be enjoyed by all.

If you have any questions, email ealing@theeventumbrella.com

Make an initial enquiry

We need to check that your proposal is suitable before asking you to make a formal application.

For example, we need to be sure that:

  • you are applying through the correct process
  • the land you want to use is managed by the leisure service
  • the land you wish to use is available on your proposed dates
  • your proposal can be considered in line with council policy

Email ealing@theeventumbrella.com with the following information:

  • a few sentences to introduce yourself or your company and your experience and qualifications in delivering such activities
  • a site map for all activities. It must show the area you propose to use (not a specific location point). Please avoid any designated sports pitches or facilities
  • an overview of the proposed activity
  • details of any infrastructure or equipment to be brought to the site
  • dates and times
  • the number of people you think will attend

We will review your enquiry and let you know if you may go ahead and apply.
