Fitness in parks

Personal and group fitness training in parks and open spaces

To hold personal or group training within the borough’s parks and open spaces, you need to get a fitness in parks permit from the Ealing events team.

We support and encourage parks and open spaces being used for outdoor fitness training, both on an individual basis and for larger commercial groups.

Due to the large number of requests from commercial companies to use the borough’s parks and open spaces for outdoors fitness training, a users agreement and hire fee have been established.

This agreement exists to protect the borough’s parks and open spaces from misuse and to make sure that general park users are not adversely affected by large groups of people training together. Ultimately it aims to harmonise the various park activities and achieve fulfilment of use for all.

There are already a variety of activities taking place in our parks. Please contact the external registered providers directly for further information.

Fitness and personal training instructors who are not registered with the council and who are not carrying an Ealing registered fitness instructor ID card will not be allowed to operate within the park.
