Moving home

Out of London

The Out of London scheme helps people to move to a permanent home in another part of the country.

It is open only to those families accepted as homeless, council tenants, and those in bed and breakfast, hostel or other temporary accommodation arranged by the council.

Ealing Council is working with housing organisations in other parts of the country to help people move to areas where good quality housing is available, as well as employment and good schools.

In many other parts of England there are no waiting lists. Many of the properties have front and back gardens, full central heating and double-glazing.
