Ealing council is committed to improving the street environment for all residents, workers, and visitors in the borough.

All businesses are responsible for safely disposing of any waste produced.

The council offers services to help businesses store and dispose of waste legally and environmentally. Businesses in the borough should either have a contract with the council or a private company, to dispose of their waste.

If you run a business in the borough, you must:

  • use a licensed waste collection carrier
  • have a collection contract in place
  • arrange and pay for waste disposal
  • ensure all waste is disposed of legally
  • keep waste in proper containers to prevent littering
  • maintain records of waste transfer notes, as proof of waste management
