Ealing Council is a recognised licensed waste carrier. We can take the responsibility of disposing your waste out of your hands, so let us take care of your business waste management by collecting and disposing of your waste in the correct manner.
There are other business waste collection companies available, but you must make sure they are licensed to collect your waste. You can find helpful information on the disposal of business waste on the GOV.UK commercial waste pages
All businesses have a legal duty of care to dispose of trade waste. Please read the duty of care page to see what this means and how it affects your business.
Your business rates do not include the collection of your business waste.
How to sign up
If you would like us to dispose of the waste from your business please email email@example.com or call 020 8825 5333 to discuss your business waste needs.
- Waste bins
- Waste sacks
- Cardboard recycling labels
- Waste recycling (currently sacks only).
Depending on the volume of waste your business produces and the container types (bins or sacks) you need, one of our business waste executives will quote you for the cost of your business waste collections. You can set up a monthly or quarterly direct debit, or you can choose to pay the full amount up front. The payment includes all costs and there will never be any surprise, such as additional fees for bin rental, duty of care charges, which other waste carriers may charge (please check all quotes carefully for a fair comparison).
If you want to use waste bins, we may ask to visit your premises to see which bin would be most suitable and to also review any access restrictions. We will then be able to provide you with a quote for your business waste collections. You will receive your contract and a waste transfer note, which you will need to sign. Once we have received your forms, we aim to get your bins delivered to you within five working days.
It is important to note, the bins provided by the council remain our property. If loss or damage is caused to bins, you will need to pay for a repair or to replace the damaged bins.
If bins are not right for your business, we can offer a sack collection. This service is operated on a 'pay as you go' basis. You just need to email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information and we will send you an invoice:
- Business waste account number (if you have one)
- Business name, registered business address, contact name and number
- Delivery address if different from registered business address
- The number of rolls of general waste sacks and/or number of batches of cardboard recycling labels
Once the invoice has been paid we will deliver your order within five working days.
