Awareness raising and training
A range of activities are in place to reduce discrimination locally, including awareness raising through training programmes within statutory organisations, and local community cohesion programmes delivered through community groups. We have implemented new guidance, and training is in place to help staff within the council take evidence-based decisions and meet the requirements of equalities legislation.
