Recycling your real Christmas tree

Between Wednesday 3 January and Friday 2 February 2024, those who live in houses or use the black and blue wheeled bins service can leave their real trees on the front edge of their property for collection.

Trees will be collected on the same day as your revised refuse collection (black bin) each alternate week.

Tree trunks must not exceed 20cm in diameter, or be more than six feet tall (taller trees can be cut in two). Please ensure all decorations are removed.

There are a number of roads that will have trees collected on the same day as their revised recycling collection (blue bin) each alternate week. If your road appears on the list below, please present your tree on your recycling week instead.
