UKSPF open call for high street events

The council has secured funding through the Mayor of London's UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) to deliver a programme of events to improve pride in place, support local business, and provide opportunities for people to develop their skills.

Our high streets task force are inviting local event organisers to send proposals to deliver year-round family-friendly events and activities across 1 or more of our high streets and town centres.

Applications are invited for event and activities to be delivered between November 2023 and March 2025.

Selected organisations will be awarded with grants of up to £5,000 for the delivery of each event.

The events could include themed or fun days, performances and live entertainment to provide an exciting and interactive offer for residents and visitors.

Proposals could include activities to be held across multiple areas, for example a series of pop-up activities, scheduled to move from one town centre to another, over a programmed time period.
