Nature conservation

Ealing borough is home to sites of significant nature conservation value and contains some of the finest areas of old unimproved meadows in London. The council understands the importance of that wildlife and the value of green spaces for people living in cities and urban environments.  It therefore strives to ensure these open spaces are managed for nature conservation.
