Resident involvement
The residents' steering group was disbanded following the rehousing of all the existing residents.
After an extensive consultation programme with estate tenants a community lettings plan was agreed which explains the choices available to tenants and the rules by which new homes will be allocated. A booklet was produced and sent to all tenants on the estate.
A leaseholder and freeholder handbook were also produced which explains the process of buying back homes and the rehousing choices available to resident leaseholders.
