As part of the recent upgrade to the online customer portal, you may need to re-register to synchronise your existing council tax/business rates accounts with the system.
For council tax and business rates
When you next log in, you will be prompted to verify your account. To successfully complete this process, please have 2 of the following items ready.You will be asked to confirm a few digits from:
- your mobile phone number - last 3 digits
- your bank account details if you pay by direct debit - last 3 digits of account number
- the online key - reference found on your latest bill
- your postcode - please include a space (example: W5 2HL)
This verification step is only required once.
Enhanced security measures
All accounts will be subject to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) security.
Each time you want to access your online account, you will receive an email with a unique verification code.
You must use that code to complete your authentication.
Please make sure you check your junk folder in your email.
eBilling enrolment
You will be automatically enrolled in eBilling, which provides email notifications whenever a new bill is issued. This means that you will no longer receive paper bills by post.
To access your bill, you must first complete theauthentication process as outlined above.
If you prefer to receive your bills by post, you will need to untick the e-billing option in your account settings or contact us directly.
