The maximum Right to Buy discount in Ealing is £16,000.
If you applied to buy your home before 21 November 2024, the maximum discount is £136,400.

Discount rates and cap
The discount rates for:
- houses: 35% of the property’s value, plus 1% for each year beyond the qualifying period, up to a maximum of 70%
- flats: 50% of the property’s value, plus 2% for each year beyond the qualifying period, up to a maximum of 70%
Money spent on your home
The 'cost floor' is the total money spent by the council on a property within the last 15 years. This will increase to 30 years for homes subject to Right to Buy, to protect investment.
A property sold under the Right to Buy cannot be sold less than the cost floor. For example, if the council spent £315,000 on a property, it cannot be sold for less than that amount.
