Carer's emergency card

A carer’s emergency card provides peace of mind for carers if they are involved in an accident, become ill, or have a crisis.

With this card, emergency services will know that the person you care for needs help.

The card is small, like a bank card, and comes with a key fob. You should carry it with you at all times. In an emergency, it tells staff to contact Ealing adult social care.

They will follow your emergency plan and make sure the person you care for is supported.

Who can get a carer’s emergency card?

The card is for family members and unpaid carers. It is for people who look after someone who would not be able to manage on their own if the carer could not help.

The person you care for must live in the borough, but they do not need to already be known to Ealing adult social care
