Household batteries can be recycled, and we will collect them as part of your collection however, they are to be presented in a bag on top of your bin, never in the bin. If they end up in your bins, they can cause fires.
Although car batteries can be recycled, they can’t be recycled with your normal recycling collection. Car batteries can be dropped off at Greenford Reuse and Recycling centre
