If you have a personal carers parking permit, you can renew it online.
Before you start
You must renew your permit before it runs out. If it has expired, you will need to apply for a new one.
Renewing a carers personal parking permit costs £10.
You will need
- Permit number
- GP declaration letter, to prove they need care
- Vehicle registration number
- Credit or debit card.
Uploading supporting documents
You will be asked to upload some documents: GP declaration letter, vehicle registration.
- Accepted file types: Word (docx), Acrobat (pdf), Excel (xlsx), Plain text (txt)
- Zip files cannot be uploaded
- We also accept photos taken on phones and tablets and the following image file types - jpeg, gif, png
- There is a maximum individual file size per document of 50MB.
What happens next
You will get a renewal confirmation in My Account, within 10 working days. You can continue to park in the controlled parking zone once the renewal of your permit has been confirmed in My Account.
Permits are virtual (paperless), so you do not need to display anything in your vehicle.
This form should take approximately four minutes to complete.
