Services outside your home

We provide a range of services to ensure the upkeep of the communal areas and how they are managed. These services are sometimes delivered by Ealing Council such as refuse disposal or street lighting, and sometimes by our own contractors.

Communal services provided by Broadway Living or its managing agents include:

  • Cleaning of communal areas
  • Fire safety inspections
  • Communal repairs
  • Gardening and litter picking
  • Parking arrangements
  • Disposing of fly tipping
  • Removal of untaxed or unsafe vehicles
  • Lift maintenance
  • Maintenance and inspections of play areas
  • Decorating of communal areas.

Where a managing agent is appointed for the whole site, they provide some of these services directly and bill us. Where this is the case, we pass on the charge through the service charge. On other sites we provide these services directly or through our own contractors.

Your tenancy agreement also sets out your responsibilities in relation to communal areas.

Report a communal repair

If you want to report a communal repair you can speak to someone on 0800 181 744.

You can also speak to your lettings and property manager about any issues to do with communal services. You can also see more information in our neighbourhood policy.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the communal services, please contact us and we will try and sort things out for you as soon as possible. If we are unable to resolve things to your satisfaction you can use our complaints process.
