You must renew your parking permit before the current one runs out.
Once your permit has been renewed, please make a note of your new permit expiry date to make sure you renew on time.
You can log onto your parking account to find out what your permit expiry date is.
Permit prices
The cost of a permit will depend on:
- hours of restriction in your parking zone
- number of vehicles in your household
- carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of your vehicle
- fuel type
You do not need to pay for a resident permit if you have a blue badge.
Before you start
You will be taken to our online parking system, where you will need to log in to your parking account. Please make sure you use the email address linked to your permit account.
You must renew your parking permit before it runs out. You will see the option to renew the permit 1 month before the expiry date.
You can do this at any time, up to the day before the permit ends. Your renewed permit will become valid from the day after the current permit expires, no matter when you renew.
If it has expired, you will no longer see the permit in your account and will need to apply for a new permit.
You can only renew your parking permit if it is for the same vehicle and the same controlled parking zone.
Do not complete this form if you are a blue badge holder as you will need to apply by post.
You will need
- your permit reference number, which starts with the letters ‘EAX’ (you can find this in your online parking account)
- your debit or credit card
What happens next
Once you have renewed and paid for your permit, you can continue to park in your controlled parking zone.
Permits are virtual (paperless), so you do not need to display anything in your vehicle.
This form should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
