Whether you are using your own ride or a dockless bicycle, always choose a responsible spot to park up.
Do not block footways as this can make it difficult for other pedestrians, especially those with mobility problems, to get around.
There are different types of cycle parking in Ealing to help people who cycle.
Bike hangars
Bike hangars offer secure and dry cycle parking and can only be accessed by members using a key.
They are for residents who do not have a space at home to store their bikes. They are half the length of a parking bay and can store up to 6 bikes.

Get a new bike hangar for your area
There is a limit to the number of bike hangars we can install each year. We select sites based on:
- demand from local residents
- number of bike thefts in the local area
- community support from local residents
- distribution across the borough
Request a new bike hangar in your area
It is not possible to install hangars in every location due to limited budgets.
If your street is a possible location for a hangar, you will get a letter asking for your view on it.
