Garden waste collection

When you subscribe or renew your garden waste subscription you will receive either:

• a sticker with a calendar for each of your green garden waste wheeled bin subscriptions.
• tags for your garden waste sacks

How to attach your tag to the garden waste sacks

1. Take the tag and put around one of the garden sack handles.
2. Thread the t-shaped end through the first slot in the tag. 
3. Thread the t-shaped end through the second slot in the tag. 
4. Make sure the tag is secure and it is through both first and second slots.
5. Write your door number on the tag with a permanent pen.

How to attach your sticker to the top of your garden waste bin

1. Clean your garden waste bin lid and make sure it is dry. 
2. Get your sticker and peel off the backing paper.  
3. Carefully line up and the sticker and stick to the bin lid. 
4. Rub the sticker all over, making sure each corner is stuck down

Once you have subscribed it will take up to 5-10 days for the tags or stickers working days to arrive. 

The collection crews will only collect from bins with the garden waste calendar sticker on the lid and sacks with a tag attached to the handle. For full details of the Garden waste service, read Garden waste collection.
