Review of conservation areas

The Conservation Area Review has now been finalised following extensive consultation and assessment. A final 6 week consultation took place from 16 October 2023 to 31 January 2024, setting out the proposed boundary changes, new designations and de-designations.

On 19 November 2025, the council’s planning committee considered the Conservation Area Review in full, including proposed boundary amendments and feedback from public and stakeholder consultations. As part of this decision, the following conservation areas were approved for changes:
