Tree planting is carried out every winter. We ensure that at least one tree is planted for every tree removed.
We will always aim to:
- plant the largest tree species appropriate to the location
- look for opportunities to increase the species diversity within the location
- respect the historic character of the location
We reserve the right to plant in new locations to increase the number of trees in areas currently under-resourced with trees.
For more information on how Ealing Council manages trees throughout the borough, please refer to the Ealing tree strategy.
We also run a memorial tree scheme; where you can sponsor a tree to be planted in a park in memory of a loved one. For more information regarding the memorial tree scheme, please contact email@example.com or complete a memorial tree application form.
