Health walks in Southall

A more challenging walk to a nature reserve and a marina. Paths may be muddy after wet weather. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

• Time: Allow 1 hour

• Facilities: Restaurant and wine bar, Willow Tree Marina

Directions

• From the park take the path past the play centre to the canal.
• Turn right along the towpath, passing Cranleigh Woods on the right and Willow Tree Marina on the left, to the bridge.
• Walk over the bridge, turn left and bear round to the right.
• Follow the path with the hedge on your left, and continue across a more open space.
• Turn left, and with the pond on your right, take a path enclosed by wire fencing.
• Follow the marked path on the right and cross a wooden footbridge taking you down to the canalside. You will see a millennium mosaic on your right.
• Follow the path round to the right to Willow Tree Marina. Take the same route back.
