Health walks in Southall

A lovely walk through the Brent River Park, with lots of nature to enjoy. High Lane footpath is a little steep. Paths may be muddy after wet weather.

• Start: Marnham Field entrance, Greenford Road, opposite Queens Avenue
• Distance: Two miles
• Time: Allow one hour

• Parking: Roads around Greenford Cemetery

Directions

• Walk down the lane towards the Brent River.
• Cross the bridge and take the path straight ahead.
• Continue past Mayfield School on your left, then turn right into High Lane.
• Pass a playground and continue along High Lane footpath, past the stables, and come out at the end onto Church Road.
• Turn right and walk straight down to St Mary's Church.
• Take the footpath beside the church down to Boles Meadow.
• Turn left over the bridge across the river.
• Turn right along the path beside the cricket field and continue straight on through the golf course.
• Bear left at the junction and walk back up the path, past Marnham Field on the right, and back onto the Greenford Road.
