Ealing Summer Festivals

Outdoor space operates as both an extension of living spaces and workspaces. These are places where people can enjoy and take part in cultural events or meet formally and informally to study, relax and develop or exchange ideas. The more these spaces are used, the more attractive and welcoming they become for all communities to come together.

Ealing is sometimes known as the festival borough. Hosting vibrant fetes, festivals and carnivals using its parks and outdoor spaces.

The Ealing Summer Festivals is west London's most exciting festival series of music, comedy, and culture. They include:

  • Greenford carnival and Acton carnival
  • Ealing Comedy Festival, Ealing Blues and Jazz festivals
  • London Mela - a celebration of South Asian culture
  • New Gen youth festival.

The council is on a journey to make sure that Ealing’s cultural scene shows the talents of our diverse communities across Ealing. So in 2022, we added a youth festival to the line-up: New Gen, a festival for and by young people.

Set among five of Ealing’s most magnificent parks, the festivals bring people together. A chance to enjoy the variety of local and international talent on show. Over the years these events have welcomed huge names from the worlds of music and comedy. These include Nick Lowe, Son of Dave, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, Roy Ayers, Courtney Pine, Omar, The Blockheads, Mungo Jerry, Jimmy Carr, Dr. Feelgood, Jo Brand, Bill Bailey, Alan Davies, Sarah Millican, Stephen K. Amos, Nina Conti, The Animals, Sandi Thom, Johnny Vegas, and Shappi Korsandi.
