Apply for a school place to start during school year 2022/2023
The following schools do not co-ordinate in-year applications with Ealing Council. If you wish to apply you will need to do so directly with the school(s):
- Apply for Ada Lovelace CofE High School
- Apply for Ealing Fields High School
- Apply for The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School
- Apply for Twyford CofE High School
- Apply for William Perkin CofE High School
Year 10
If your child is currently in Year 10 and is already in education, it is not advisable to transfer schools. There is no guarantee that options and exam boards can be matched between schools and coursework cannot be transferred. This would seriously disadvantage their final GCSE grades.
Year 11
If your child is currently in Year 11 and is already in education, it is not advisable to transfer schools. There is no guarantee that options and exam boards can be matched between schools and coursework cannot be transferred. This would seriously disadvantage their final GCSE grades. If your child is not in education in addtion to completing the application form you must also provide the Year 11 information form to ensure that they can be placed in appropriate full time education. If you do not provide this, it will delay your child's access to education.
Deadlines
School places are offered weekly (during term time only). All applications received before 4pm on a Friday will be included in the following week's allocations. You will be sent a letter by email within 10 school days of making an application confirming the outcome. Please be aware that updates cannot be given by the admissions team until after your application has been processed and the outcome confirmed in your letter.
For example, if you apply after 4pm on Friday 2 September and before 4pm on Friday 9 September you can expect to receive an email to confirm the outcome of your application by 4pm on Friday 16 September. The admissions team will not be able to provide an update or advise before Monday 19 September.
Children of sixth form/college age
If your child was born before 1 September 2006 we recommend you contact the Connexions service for advice on post-16 education or employment advice.
