How we work with others

Ealing Borough Resilience Forum (BRF)

The BRF is a statutory group of multi-agency responders which provides a single meeting forum to have a coordinated approach to business and emergency management response. These are determined by the risks that are faced within the Ealing borough.

This forum is made up of both:

  • Category 1 responders: Core responders that are likely to be heavily involved in most major incidents - they have a duty to share information and co-operate with other category one and two responders.
  • Category 2 responders: Co-operating responders that are likely to be involved in some emergencies - they share information with category one responders

The borough resilience forum assesses risks to the borough and puts in place mitigating actions.

The work carried out by this forum, is governed by the Ealing Borough Resilience Forum business plan and reports into the Safer Ealing Partnership.

The BRF meets at least three times a year to discuss any risks to the borough and provide best practice with one another.
