Ealing Borough Resilience Forum (BRF)
The BRF is a statutory group of multi-agency responders which provides a single meeting forum to coordinate the development of local response and recovery arrangements, and ensure as a borough, Ealing is well prepared and resilient for when emergencies occur.
The BRF is made up of both Category 1 and 2 responders:
- Category 1 responders: Core responders that are likely to be heavily involved in most major emergencies. They have a duty to share information and co-operate with other Category 1 and 2 responders
- Category 2 responders: Co-operating responders that are likely to be involved in some emergencies. They share information with category one responders
Members of the BRF include:
- Emergency services
- Health services
- Ealing Council
- emergency management team
- public health teams
- Environmental services
- Voluntary sector
- British Red Cross
- Ealing and Hounslow CVS
- Industry, utilities, transport sector
The BRF meets four times a year to discuss multi-agency preparedness, share information and train together through tabletop exercises on different scenarios that could occur in the borough.
