Bulky items collection

Terms and conditions

  1. We do not collect from red routes, commercial premises or sites.
  2. Before booking, please check the items that can be accepted on the Bulky items collection webpage. 
  3. The charge is for up to 6 items including fridges or freezers. This is an administration fee which is non-refundable.
  4. A quote can be requested for collection of more than 6 items. These quotes are valid for 21 days. If payment is not made within this time, you will need to get a new quote.
  5. Quotes will be provided within 5 working days of a request being made. New quotes will be needed if items are added to the list for collection.
  6. Once a collection has been booked, you will no longer receive any further communications. If you need to contact us, please contact our customer service team on 020 8825 6000. 
  7. No discounts are available for this bulky items service.
  8. Collection team will not enter the home. 
  9. Items must be visible and easy to access at any time of the day from the front of properties.
  10. Items should be presented within 5 metres of a suitable collection point at pavement level. Please make sure there is a suitable parking space for the vehicle. 
  11. Any overgrowth or vegetation needs to be cleared for easy access. Please make sure vegetation is no more than 50cm high.
  12. We will only accept items that are in a clean and dry condition (as far as reasonably possible). Also, items that have been in contact with mould or a pest infestation will not be accepted. These items are a potential health hazard to our team. 
  13. It is your responsibility to make sure items are presented correctly for collection. The collection team will not collect items which, on inspection, could cause harm to our team.
  14. Each item for collection must be of a size, shape and weight that is easily carried by 2 people. Broken glass must be wrapped, boxed and clearly labelled.
  15. A box containing several items is classed as one item. The box needs to be liftable by a single person. Please list the box as one item in the items for collection.
  16. Where an item has been broken into pieces, and it has not been securely bundled together, bagged or boxed, it will be classed as more than one item. Please list each item separately.
  17. Once an appointment day has been booked, you must make sure that your items are placed out for collection by 7am on the scheduled appointment day. If you need to contact us, please do so on 020 8825 6000. 
  18. Any items not on your booking form at the time of payment will not be collected and no refunds will be given. 
  19. We cannot be held responsible for items taken by a third party and we cannot give refunds.
