High Speed 2 (HS2)

HS2 is the new railway from London to Birmingham, and further north. In Ealing, the line runs underground from the interchange station at Old Oak Common to Northolt. Further details on Ealing’s approach to HS2

To find out more on the project, or report a problem to HS2 Ltd, please visit the HS2 website or email HS2 at HS2enquiries@hs2.org.uk

Ealing Council continues to lobby HS2 to better address the significant disruption faced by its residents and businesses during the construction period. We also want to ensure that HS2 delivers long-term benefits to the borough. This includes more community and environmental improvements, jobs and training initiatives, and improvements to local transport infrastructure. In May 2025, the council secured a commitment from HS2 to prepare and implement improvement plans on the following topics which were identified by the local community as key priorities. These plans are under development and will be published in summer 2025:

  • dust
  • noise
  • small claims

Please contact us on the below email address if you require any further information about this.
