A high-risk building is defined as 18m or more in height or 7 storeys or more and contains at least 2 flats. Ealing Council is responsible for 29 blocks that fall into the category of ‘high-risk building’ and have been registered with the Building Safety Regulator.
In March 2024, we consulted tenants and leaseholders in all 29 of our high-risk buildings on a Resident Engagement Strategy for their building. In May 2024, taking into consideration resident and leaseholder feedback, these strategies were finalised. You can find the engagement strategy for your building by following the link below.
In the case of a fire
If a fire starts in your flat, you need to get everyone safely out.
If the fire is not in your flat, the fire strategy for the following buildings, is to stay put:
