There are more than 16 car parks across the borough. Drivers can either pay by cash at the machines located in the car parks or choose to use our RingGo service.
Pay-and-display machines accept coins only; they do not give change or accept notes, credit cards or debit cards.
Motorcycles may park for free, and need not pay and display, in any of the designated motor cycle bays within the council's car parks.
Many car parks have marked bays for disabled badge holders. People with disabilities, and displaying a disabled badge, may park for free for a maximum of three hours. Returning to a parking bay within two hours of leaving is prohibited. The accompanying disabled badge clock must be displayed to show your time of arrival.
Please note: on UK bank holidays all our off-street car parks are free of charge for parking.
