A Freedom Pass gives people with disabilities or visual impairments, and older people free travel on buses, underground, trains, trams and DLR services in London.
From 6 April 2010 the eligibility age for the older persons Freedom Pass is rising to meet the state pension age for women. This means the earliest date on which you can get your Freedom Pass will depend on when you were born and, if you were born on or after 6 April 1950 this date will be later than your 60th birthday. To find out when you will be eligible and when you can apply by either visiting a Post Office or visiting www.freedompass.org
New applicants can apply at any time.
