You can apply to close a road for a street party.

You will need

- details of affected roads, properties and businesses
- estimated attendance
- details of any objections
We will ask you to
- confirm that you have consulted with affected residents and businesses
- agree to source, set up and remove road closure signs and barriers
- confirm that emergency access will be maintained during the party
- agree to clean up and remove rubbish and recycling after the party
What happens next
We will review your application within 15 working days to confirm if a road closure is possible.
We may contact you to ask for more information
Your application may be declined if closing the road would have a negative impact on public transport routes, emergency access routes, through traffic, or nearby residents or businesses.
