Pilot schemes

Ealing Council has been making the borough healthier, safer and greener through improving the public  spaces and neighbourhoods across the borough. A new resident-centred approach was undertaken in developing these schemes.

Working with residents to develop plans

The council is committed to being open, transparent, and inclusive of local people, to make positive improvements that work for their street, following the principles set out in the Travel in Ealing Charter

All residents in the 6 locations were invited to help shape the plans through in-person sessions, where they had the opportunity to ask the council about the plans, while sharing their views and ideas to help finalisise plans. This report has been written by ECF, outlining the findings from the overall consultation

To fully understand the issues with traffic in these areas, the council also carried out traffic and pedestrian data collection, which was shared with residents.
