Wesley Estate controlled parking zone (zone SS) - results overview
Introduction
We asked people who live in the Wesley Estate controlled parking zone (zone SS) to share their views. We wanted to know how the parking zone was working for you and if you thought any changes were needed.
The consultation began on Monday 16 February and ended on Monday 16 March 2026.
The zone was set up in 2015 and had not been reviewed until the recent consultation. It currently runs:
- Monday to Friday
- 10am to 11am
- 3pm to 4pm
Your responses to the consultation were analysed and used to form a report that was shared with local ward councillors. Based on a combination of the responses received and individual comments and feedback provided to your Ward Councillors, Officers have made recommendations that they believe provide suitable solutions for the majority of residents.
What happens next
Over the coming weeks, we will begin preparing the detailed designs and legal documentation required to formally advertise the proposals. We encourage all residents to engage with the statutory consultation during the 21-day consultation period.
You will be notified when the statutory consultation begins via green notices throughout the parking zone, which will provide details of the proposals and how comments or objections can be submitted.
