Introduction
Ealing Council would like to learn more about the new residents from Hong Kong to design local services that would meet their needs. Working with local community networks, Ealing and Northfields Hong Kong Club and Light Foundations, we will support Hongkongers by focusing on 5 key objectives:
- understand and address the needs of new residents from Hong Kong
- build trust with Hongkongers to help with cooperation and integration
- promote physical and mental health to build confidence to settle in the UK
- provide educational opportunities and celebrate Hong Kong heritage and culture
- increase employability through training and skills
