The consultation
In response to the ongoing harm caused by COVID-19, Ealing Council is setting out its plan for a recovery and renewal of the local economy. In doing this the council intends to pursue an approach to economic growth and development that is more sustainable, more inclusive and socially just for all residents and workers across the borough.
The Greenprint also outlines how the council will only achieve these aims by working in close partnership with multiple stakeholders that are located within and outside the borough. The Greenprint also aligns with and compliments other recovery strategies, most notably the Mayor of London’s Recovery Mission and the West London Alliance Build and Recover Strategy.
The Greenprint is focused on four key action areas (in no order of rank):
- Supporting Climate Action
- Supporting Residents
- Supporting Businesses
- Supporting Neighbourhoods
