This consultation ran from 2 to 27 March 2022.
The council received various parking complaints from residents and Ward Councillors and were aware of some long-standing parking issues across the area. The area has always been susceptible to parking displaced from the adjacent Controlled Parking Zone Y, particularly from those seeking free parking to commute from nearby tube stations. However, residents informed us that owing to a surge in new developments being built in the area, many of which do not have their own parking facilities, there has been a noticeable increase in parking pressure throughout the area. Regeneration of the Park Royal Industrial Estate is expected to exacerbate parking pressures even further.
In view of this, we believed the area would benefit from controlled parking and we sought residents’ views to see whether they would like controlled parking introduced in their street.

The results of the consultation have been shared with Ward Councillors for their consideration and we will update this page with any further developments.
