If you are a car rental company, you can apply for a car club permit so vehicles can park in a car club parking bay.
Before you start
Only car rental companies can apply.
Car club permits costs £800 a year.
By applying for a car club permit, you are agreeing to follow our terms and conditions.
If you have a car club permit, you will still need to pay to park in pay and display bays. The permit does not allow you to park in stop and shop bays for an unlimited time or other specific bays eg disabled bay.
You will need
- Registration number, colour, make and model of vehicle (for vehicle-specific applications)
- Parking bay number (starts with EA)
- Company letter, which includes the location of the bays and vehicle details
- Credit or debit card.
Uploading supporting documents
You will be asked to upload a company letter.
- Accepted file types: Word (docx), Acrobat (pdf), Excel (xlsx), Plain text (txt)
- Zip files cannot be uploaded
- We also accept photos taken on phones and tablets and the following image file types - jpeg, gif, png
- There is a maximum individual file size per document of 50MB.
What happens next
You will get confirmation of your new permit reference number in My Account, within 10 working days. You can find this by going into ‘My transactions’ and then ‘Parking and travel’.
Please do not park your car in the designated car club bay until you get confirmation.
Vehicle specific permits are virtual (paperless), so you do not need to display anything in your vehicle.
Permits that are not for a specific vehicle will be printed and posted out to the company address, as they will need to be displayed.
