Community schools admission policy changes for 2023/24

This consultation has ended.

The consultation

Every year the council is required to determine the admissions arrangements for community schools and consult on any proposed changes. The council is also required to publish a draft of the revised policy and consult on any proposed changes with residents, other admission authorities and any other persons with an interest in the arrangements.

There are no proposed changes to the oversubscription criteria however, the council are consulting on a proposed reduction from 90 to 60 places in the published admission number (PAN) for Lady Margaret Primary School due to falling numbers for reception places.

Your views

We would like to hear from as many people as possible about the proposed changes. To take part in the consultation, please read the proposed admissions arrangements fully before completing a short survey to submit your views.

This consultation will be open until 20 December 2021.

What happens next?

Results of the consultation will be included in a report to the council’s members who will make the final decision on the admissions arrangements for 2023/24. These will be published on the council website by 15 March 2022.
